Where customers book your services
What is a booking site?
A booking page is a website that allows customers to easily schedule and reserve services directly from the provider. The provider can use their own customized booking page, typically via a unique link such as `Bookingservice.no/CompanyName`. The booking page can also be seamlessly integrated into an existing website, so that customers experience a consistent and holistic user experience.
The booking page displays all the necessary steps to complete a booking, including service selection, available dates and times, and customer information. Once a booking is completed, it is sent directly to the service provider’s dashboard, making it easy to manage reservations, as well as follow up with customers and staff.
How does the customer create a booking from the booking page?
This guide shows how customers can create a booking on the booking page. The steps can be customized and adjusted by the provider, so some steps can be hidden or shown depending on their specific needs. The guide below provides a step-by-step process as it may appear, but this can be customized.
1. Select location:
– On the first screen, the customer can choose from different locations, based on the provider's services.
– Click on the desired location to see available services.
2. Select service:
– After selecting a location, a list of various services will be displayed.
– Select the specific service you want from the list by clicking on the service.
– For each service, details such as duration and price will be displayed.
3. Select option (personnel or object):
– Options are associated with the service and control availability for booking. They can be employees/personnel, products, devices, equipment or other objects.
– An example of an alternative could be:
– Employee/staff
– Cabin
– Rental property
– Tools
– Equipment
– Vehicles
– Select the staff or object you want for the service.
4. Add extra services:
– If the provider offers additional services, you can select these here.
– Additional services can be tasks or add-ons that complement the main service.
– Click on each additional service you want to add.
5. Select date and time:
– The calendar shows available dates.
– Click on a date to see available times.
– Select a suitable time from the list.
6. Fill in the information:
– Fill in the necessary customer information, such as name, email address, and phone number.
– If more participants are needed, check to add them.
– Check to accept terms before proceeding to the next step.
7. Shopping cart:
– Confirm the selected services and additional services in the shopping cart.
– If desired, add more services to your cart by returning to the service overview.
– Enter any discount codes.
– Select the desired payment method from the options displayed, such as card payment, invoice, gift card, Vipps or other methods.
8. Confirmation:
– After you have confirmed your booking details and paid, a confirmation number will be displayed.
– The customer can add the booking to their calendar or start a new booking.
