About Gift Cards<\/h2>\n

You can offer your customers gift card codes that you create yourself in the control panel. After creating a code, you can send it to the customer via email or write it on a physical gift card. Tip: For a professional touch, you can order ready-made printed gift cards and write the code on the design before giving it to the customer. The code will have the balance you specify and can be used as a means of payment in your booking service. Note that the balance must cover the entire purchase amount for the transaction to be completed.<\/p>\n

Important: Generating gift card codes is a manual process. Gift card sales cannot be automated directly through the booking service.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

How to create a gift card

Click on Gift Cards in the menu.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Click on Lag Gavekort<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Code: Choose a name for the code, e.g. kje19B<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Amount: Enter the gift card value in kroner.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Optional fields: Location filter: Limit the gift card to specific locations. Service filter: Limit the gift card to specific services. Option filter: Limit the gift card to specific options.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Click Save. The gift card is ready to use. Send the code to the customer manually via email or SMS.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How the customer uses the gift card<\/h2>\n

    Gift card sales<\/h2>\n

    Gift card sales are currently a manual process, but you can easily set up a service called \u201cBuy Gift Cards.\u201d The customer can choose the amount using add-ons with different values.<\/p>\n

    How to do it<\/h3>\n

    1. Set up a gift card service:<\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Create the service: Create a new service in the system called \u201cBuy Gift Cards\u201d.<\/li>\n
    • Add extra services: Add fixed amounts as extra services (e.g. 200 kr, 500 kr, 1000 kr) so that the customer can choose the desired value.<\/li>\n
    • Duration: Set the duration to 1 day to record the order date.<\/li>\n
    • Note: The customer must select a date when booking. This date will be the start date of the gift card's validity, as the booking system requires a selected date. The gift card can last for as long as you wish, for example 1 or 2 years from the selected date. Please state this in the service description.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      2. Create the gift card manually:<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • When you receive an order from a customer, go to the Gift Card menu in the system.<\/li>\n
      • Create a unique gift card code with the correct balance and create a unique gift card code. The longer and more complex the code, the more secure it will be against misuse. Ex. agB2456t52sj<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        3. Send the gift card to the customer:<\/h3>\n
          \n
        • Send the code to the customer via SMS or email, whichever suits you best.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Tip:<\/h3>\n

          • Order a gift card design: Buy a ready-made gift card template from an online store that offers printed designs.<\/li>\n
          • Enter the unique code and any expiration date on the gift card.<\/li>\n
          • Send it to the customer via mail as a physical product for a professional presentation.<\/li>\n
          • To cover the cost of postage, you can create a fee via Tax\/VAT in the main menu and link it specifically to the gift card purchase service.<\/li>\n
          • Run promotions: Offer special offers like \u201cBuy a gift card for 500 kr \u2013 get 1000 kr worth!\u201d to attract more customers. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
