Availability
You can set availability for your services in three different places:
Settings -> Accessibility
This is your default weekly schedule. You can set a fixed availability in the system settings, which will be used as the normal availability for all your services.
Services -> Edit a Service -> Availability:
For each service, you can create a specific weekly schedule by selecting the "Availability" tab when editing a service.
Options -> Edit an Option -> Accessibility
You can also create an individual weekly schedule for each option. To do this, click the three dots “⋮” next to the option, select “Edit,” and then the “Availability” tab.
Note: If you create a weekly schedule under Option, it will override both the default settings and the service availability. That is, the option's availability has the highest priority.
Availability Priority (Hierarchy)
The system follows a priority order when it comes to availability:
- First priority: Alternative (if a weekly schedule is created)
- Second priority: Service (if a weekly schedule is created)
- Third priority: Accessibility (under general settings)
If the option does not have a schedule, the system will look at the service's schedule. If this is also missing, the system will ultimately use the schedule in "Settings".
Special Days
If your services or options are only available for booking on specific days, you can use the "Special days" feature. It is possible to set up a service as available only on a selected date and time. When might you need this? Say, for example, that you are offering an event that takes place on November 10, 10-11 am. Then you can create a service that can only be booked at this time. You can either edit this directly on a service or directly on an option (staff or object).
Special days at a Service:
- Go to "Services" in the main menu and edit the service in question or create a new one.
- Click on the "Accessibility" tab.
- Select "Special days".
- Click on "Add a special day".
- Enter the date and time the service will be available that day. Enter the start and end times.
- Are there multiple busy times this day? Click on "Busy Between" and add times within the day that are busy. You can add multiple "Busy Between" periods on the same day.
- Click "Save".
Special days on an Alternative:
- Go to "Options" in the main menu and edit the option in question.
Troubleshooting Special days
Is the time not showing up on the service? Check that the 'Option' associated with the service is available at the time of the service. Click on "Options" and check the "Availability" for this. Remember that the Option's availability overrides everything.
Busy
The busy feature allows you to mark entire days where services or options are not available for booking.
Settings
- Gives you a calendar where you can select the month and check off days when the entire business is closed for bookings.
- This applies to all services.
Here's how to do it:
- Go to "Settings" in the main menu.
- Select the "Busy" tab.
- Click on the dates in the calendar to mark them as busy.
- Click "Save" to confirm your selections.
Busy for Options
- Go to "Options" in the main menu and edit the option in question.
- Click on the "Busy" tab.
- Click on the dates in the calendar to mark them as busy.
- Click "Save".
The option will now be unavailable for booking on the selected dates.
Busy for Services
There is no separate "Busy" tab for services. To mark a service as busy for an entire day, use the "Special Days" feature and set the availability to zero by not specifying any times.
