Log

The waiting list is now fully automated. When a time slot becomes available, the slot is automatically assigned to the customer who has been on the waiting list the longest. Only that customer is notified, and the system handles both assignment and notification entirely on its own. You can customize notifications in Workflow as needed.

Our websites and services are now functioning as normal.
All data is safely stored, and there have been no security breaches or loss of information.

What happened?
On June 12th, the internet was hit by a major error at Cloudflare, which also affected our provider Kinsta and many global players (Google, Spotify, Discord and more).

05.05.2025 - Resource management is complete

Resource Management was in "Beta" due to a testing period. The testing period is now over, and the feature is stable.

Improvement in SMS function

  • Previously, all messages were automatically cut to just 1 SMS segment (153 characters).

  • Multi-segment messages are now supported: the system calculates the number of segments before sending.

  • Quota checks are performed before sending, so that no sub-segments exceed the customer's monthly limit.

  • Logging per segment has been improved, so that the dashboard shows the exact number of SMS segments used.

The “User Activity” function gives you access to a detailed log for each individual booking. This log documents all changes that have been made and provides a clear overview of the booking's history. You can find this function under the “User Activity” tab.

You can now view a customer's Booking History by going to "Customers" in the main menu. Then click the "Booking History" button located on each customer line.

20.01.2025 - New feature launched: Log

Under the "Log" button, you can easily get an overview of all "Workflows" that have been completed for your booking service. You get full control over your workflows. You can track and review all sent workflows. On a simple and clear page, you can see when, for whom and which workflow was completed. You can also quickly resend workflows if necessary.

28.09.2024 - Update completed. v.4.1.5

The update caused problems with Mollie's payment method. This has now been fixed.

28.09.2024 - Customer panel error fixed

Some users have experienced errors when making payments to customers via Stripe directly from the Customer Panel. This error has been fixed.

Dear user.

Unfortunately, we have experienced several hacker attacks, where malicious code was inserted into the website. No personal data appears to have been compromised, but changes or bookings between 06:18 and 10:15 on September 11, 2024 may have been lost. We sincerely apologize for this.

The site has now been restored via our backup service, and we are conducting a comprehensive security check in collaboration with our provider Kinsta. Additional security measures are being implemented to prevent future attacks.

Implemented a dynamic “Reply-To” email address for all email mailings by setting “Reply-To” to the admin's email address.
The changes contribute to better handling of responses to emails, which improves communication between customers and you as a supplier.

You can now change your control panel to English, if desired, via the button at the top right.

Booking page language
You can now change the language of your booking page to any language. You do this via Settings - Front Panels - Language Switcher.

Booking Limit. This allows you to limit the number of bookings for "Services", "Options" and "Locations". You can set a limit on the total number within a selected interval. You can also limit bookings made by each individual customer, for example, customers can only book 2 times a week.

25.02.2024 - Visual error on booking page and Alternative

Error 1. A visual issue has been detected on the booking page when using a computer. Design elements may move down a bit in the design. We are working on a fix as quickly as possible. A fix can be expected on Monday, February 26. There is no error on mobile or tablet.

Error 2. Admin cannot add Alternative. Fix coming soon.

23.10.2023 - Payment methods

The payment systems Stripe, Stripe Connect, Vipps, and Mollie operate optimally and are accessible via all standard browsers on mobile, tablets, and computers.

However, there are challenges when using browsers integrated into applications such as Facebook and Instagram, as these platforms use their own browsers that do not currently support the aforementioned payment systems. We are actively looking for solutions that will enable payment processing via these in-app browsers.

Important: Bookingtjeneste.no will be performing a scheduled server upgrade from December 12th at 02:00 to December 13th at 05:00. The service may be unstable during this time. Thank you for your understanding.

We have now corrected the error on Vipps.no which previously caused payments to be placed in "Reserved" status. The payment then had to be approved manually via Vipps.no. From now on, the payment will be completed automatically, even if the customer does not return to the website to see the confirmation of completed booking. 
 
Even though this problem has been resolved, we still recommend that you check your Vipps account from time to time to make sure that all payments are in order.

24.09.2023 - Email issues fixed. Images in emails were not always loading. This has now been fixed. The error only persisted for 1-2 days.

18.09.2023 - Improvements to our new Vipps integration.

We are pleased to inform you about important improvements we have made to our Vipps integration to improve your user experience.

Previously, customers could experience issues with the payment process if they did not return to the browser to see the confirmation message after completing the payment in the Vipps app. This could in some cases result in the payment failing, even though it was actually completed.

We are now happy to announce that this challenge has been resolved. After the payment is completed in the Vipps app, the booking will also be automatically confirmed, regardless of whether you return to the browser or not.

We hope this update will make your experience with our payment system more seamless and efficient. Thank you for continuing to choose our services.

12.09.2023 - We have adjusted the timings of our Cron jobs. We have made some changes to how our Cron jobs work. A Cron job is a time-based task scheduler that runs automated tasks on our server. Previously, these jobs ran every 15 minutes, but we have now changed this to run every 5 minutes. This change will particularly affect the reminder feature, which will now be more responsive. This means that you will receive reminders and updates faster than before.

07.09.2023 - Vipps popup error on mobile. During the payment process, an additional popup may occur after payment and an error message occurs. This is confusing for the customer. Payment is completed as normal, but the visual is incorrect. This depends on the browser you are using on mobile. We are working on a fix.

11.08.2023 - Email notifications

We would like to inform you that our email provider, Brevo.com, experienced technical difficulties with its servers today between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM. As a result, some email notifications may not have been sent out as scheduled.

We understand that this may have caused inconvenience and we apologize for any problems this may have caused.

08.09.2023 - Link from Facebook group may contain errors. It has been reported that the booking page does not display the services if the link is shared directly from a Facebook group. We are working on a solution. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes.

02.09.2023 - Improvements in Vipps integration

We are pleased to announce that we have completed extensive testing and improvements to our Vipps integration this weekend. These updates aim to improve the overall user experience and payment process.

Important changes:

1. Bug Fix: We have fixed an error message that could previously occur during the payment process. This ensures a smoother and more reliable transaction for our users.

2. Optimized Payment Process: We have streamlined the mechanisms behind the payment process, resulting in faster transactions.

3. Autofill Phone Number: The Vipps integration now automatically retrieves information from the user's booking and passes on the phone number. This reduces the number of steps in the payment process and makes it faster and easier for the customer.

4. Booking number included: For increased overview and administration, the booking number for each transaction will now be visible on Vipps' control panel.

What will be implemented in the next update of the Vipps integration?

17.08.2023 - Production of Vipps payment solution. We are working on producing our own Vipps integration. This is planned to be launched shortly for our customers with Pro subscriptions.

27.07.2023 - Mollie offers Klarna as a payment solution. There has been an error reported that Klarna does not appear, only card payment. We are working on a fix.

06.08.2023 - Error with the gift card function at some suppliers. The function does not appear as a payment solution. This affects some users. We will come up with a solution.

31.07.2023 - The website had some downtime for approx. 1 hour around 11-12 o'clock. OK now. We apologize for the inconvenience this caused.

28.07.2023: Website update completed. Version 3.7.5. Various minor adjustments have been made. Fixed bug with Appearance feature failing to save.

17.07.2023: The website update is complete. Version 3.7.3. Various minor adjustments have been made, and a new template feature for settings, workflow, etc. will be available soon.

29.06.2023: The website update is complete. Version 3.7.1. Various minor adjustments have been made, and an innovative feature has been launched. This new feature, called "Prices by Conditions", allows users to dynamically adjust prices by increasing or decreasing them in accordance with specified conditions. Price adjustment can be done either as a percentage or through a specific amount. This feature brings a new level of flexibility and adaptability to our service.

Our developers are investigating the issue, and we are working as quickly as possible to get it fixed.
