Information about setting up a customer account. The system allows your customers to create their own account that shows an overview of bookings. There are several ways to create an account for the customer.

Method 1 – Customer account creation
When a customer places a booking/order with you, the system automatically creates an account for the customer. The customer can therefore log in to the customer panel at any time. You may have to inform the customer that an account is being created, but this is your choice. Account information such as username and password can be sent to the customer automatically via a workflow.
Setting up a workflow to send account information to a customer
1. Gå til Workflow i hovedmenyen.
Klikk på den blå knappen oppe til høyre, Lag ny arbeidsflyt.
Fyll inn alle felter.
- Arbeidsflyt navn: Velg et tilfeldig navn som gjør at du vet hva denne arbeidsflyten gjør (kun du ser dette navnet).
- Når dette skjer: Velg alternativet som heter Ny kunde opprettet.
- Gjør dette: Velg enten alternativet Send SMS melding eller Send e-post.
- Click on Opprett.
4. Let's say you chose email. (SMS setup is almost the same, but only in plain text).
Click on Endre under Gjør dette.
PS: Vi har ferdige e-postmaler. Gå til https://bookingtjeneste.no/maler og finn malen som heter Customer panel. Kopier HTML-koden. Deretter gå tilbake til e-posten du skriver og klikk på Code view (</>). Fjern alt av tekst her inne og lim inn koden du nettopp kopierte. Husk å klikke på Save.
Done! When making a booking, the customer will now receive an email providing information about their username and password.

Method 3 – Customer account creation
A customer account can be created by you under your control panel.
Gå til Kundebehandling → Kunder.
Klikk på knappen Legg til kunde.
Fyll inn all informasjon om kunden. Husk å klikke på knappen som heter Tillatt å logge inn og fyll inn et passord for kunden.
Click on Save.
Done. The account has been created for the customer. Remember to provide the customer with a username and password.
What can the customer do on the customer panel?
Through the customer panel, your customers can easily manage their appointments and profiles. They can create a profile, change profile information, rebook, cancel or delete appointments. As an administrator, you can choose which functions your customers should have access to in the customer panel. You can also decide whether an email with login information should be sent to the customer when they make a booking, since they automatically receive a customer profile. You can edit or remove this email under workflow in the menu.
Choice for customer
Under Settings – The front panel – Customer panel you can choose what your customers can do in their panel. You decide which features should be enabled. Some of the options include:
• Time limit for changing appointments: You can set a time limit for how long before the appointment customers can change it, for example 12 hours before the appointment.
• Allow customers to change agreement status: Customers can change the status of the agreement, for example to “Cancelled”.
• Allow customers to reschedule appointments: Customers can change the time of an appointment within the statuses you have set.
• Hide or show the “Pay now” button: You can choose whether the customer should have the option to pay directly from the customer panel or not.
These features give you full control over how your customers use the customer dashboard and provide a flexible solution for managing appointments.
