Manage Bookings
To effectively manage and have a full overview of your bookings, the first step is to navigate to the “Bookings” section found in the main menu. This area gives you a comprehensive view of all your bookings and reservations, arranged in a clear and accessible list. To simplify the process of finding specific bookings, we offer an intuitive filtering system. Strategically placed at the top of the page, this system allows you to quickly sort and sift through your bookings based on various criteria such as dates, types of events, or any other relevant parameters you may wish.
Changing bookings from the control panel
Next to the listing for each booking you will find three vertical dots. Click here. You will see four choices.
1. "Change"
This option opens up editing the existing booking, allowing you to update or change details such as time, number of participants, or specific requests related to the event.
2. "Delete"
Should there be a need to cancel a booking, this option offers an easy way to remove the booking from the system, ensuring your record remains up-to-date and accurate.
3. "Information"
For those cases where you need deeper insight or detailed information about a specific booking, this option gives you access to booking details without being able to edit them.
For those situations where you need to manually add a new booking – perhaps due to a special request or an event that doesn’t fit into the regular booking form – the process has been made seamless and user-friendly. A clearly marked button, “New Booking”, is easily accessible in the booking section. By clicking on this, you will be guided through a simple, step-by-step form that helps you enter all the necessary information. From the start date and time, to specific requirements or needs for the event, the goal is to make the process as intuitive and hassle-free as possible.
4. "Change status"
Change your booking status quickly via this button. Remember to save.
Create a booking from the control panel
How to create a booking using your control panel. Follow these steps to easily add a new booking:
1. Go to "Bookings":
In the menu on the left, select "Bookings".
2. Click "New booking":
At the top right you will find the button "New booking". Click on it to start.
3. Select the correct tab:
You will see four tabs at the top: Booking Details, Extras, Forms, and Discount Codes. To get started, stay in the Booking Details tab.
4. Fill in the fields:
In Booking Details you must fill in the following fields:
– Locations: Choose the correct location.
– Category: Select the relevant category.
– Services: Select the service to be offered.
– Options: Select any options.
– Customer: Select the existing customer, or create a new one by clicking the plus sign (+). Fill in all relevant information, such as name, email, phone number, etc.
5. Explore other tabs as needed:
– Additional services: If you offer additional services, select them here.
– Forms: Select relevant forms if specific information needs to be filled out.
– Discount codes: If a discount code is to be used, select it here.
6. Set status and number of people:
Set the booking status to "Approved" by default, and specify the number of people (usually 1).
7. Enable "Workflow":
At the bottom you will see the checkbox "Run workflow on saves". This will trigger automatic actions on saves, such as email confirmations to customers and employees.
8. Save:
Click "Save" to create the booking.
9. Check the booking:
After saving, you will find the new booking in the overview on the Bookings page.
