Options
Options are associated with each service and regulate its availability for booking. An option can be a staff, product, unit, equipment or other object – that is, anything that can be booked. Each service can have multiple Options, and there must always be at least one Option for a service to be bookable. When you create an Option, it can be assigned a separate “User” with a separate login for this Option.
Examples of Options:
- Employee/staff
- Cottage
- Rental property
- Tool
- Equipment
- Vehicle
To add an option, navigate to:
Main Menu -> Options -> Add Staff or Object.
Plural of Options
Services you create can be associated with multiple Options at the same time, especially when:
More employees, same service:
- Example: The “Haircut” service.
- Several hairdressers offer this service.
- Each hairdresser is listed as a separate option, so customers can choose between different hairdressers.
More products, same service:
- Example: The service "Container rental, medium size".
- Several medium-sized containers are available for rent.
- Each container is created separately as its own Option, allowing customers to choose a specific container.
First available option
During the booking process for a customer, as an admin, you can enable a button called “First Available Option.” This button appears under the Options selection, and when the customer clicks on it, the system will automatically select the first available Option from all available options for the service.
Note: You can enable the button and adjust the criteria for how the Option is selected by going to Settings -> Front Panels -> Order Steps -> Options.
Then check: Enable the option for "First available time". Then select an option under "Automatic assignment rule:".
User with own login
An Alternative can have its own login as a separate user. When creating the Alternative, you can check the box for "Allowed to log in". Then you create a password for the user. The Alternative then becomes a completely separate "User" who has access to the control panel.
User access for “user” – Important!
When registering a new user with their own login under "Alternative", it is important to:
- Go to "User Access" in the main menu.
- Create appropriate access and rights for the new employee.
Important: Without assigning access rights via "User Access", the employee will receive an error message:
{«error_msg»:»Permission denied!»,»status»:»error»}
It is therefore essential to configure these settings to give employees the correct system access.
