Give “users” system access and rights in the control panel

When registering a new employee (Option) with their own login under Options, it is important to follow these steps to ensure they have the correct user access. This defines what rights the employee has in the control panel. The process must be completed for each new employee individually to ensure the correct access level.

After you have created an employee as a new Alternative with their own login, do the following:

  • Go to Main Menu -> User Access.
  • Create an appropriate role for the new Employee (Option). Click on "New User Access" in the top right corner.
  • Fill in the field "Name". This is only the name of the user access and is only for your overview. Can be called "Employees" for example.
  • Under the "Alternative" field, you must select which employees/alternatives should have this user access.
  • Please feel free to write a note in the "Note" field to describe the user access. For your reference only. 
  • Switch to the tab at the top called "Permissions". 
  • Check which rights the "User Access" should have. Under some items such as "Bookings", "Customers", "Services", "Options", you can choose whether the user access should have access to "Nobody", "Everyone" or "Mine". For example, "Everyone" under "Bookings" will mean that users will be able to see all bookings made in the overview.

 

Error message

If you do not assign access rights via User Access, the employee will receive the following error message upon login:

Therefore, it is essential to configure these settings correctly to provide employees with appropriate system access.

 

Admin

The email account registered with administrator rights provides full administrative access. This account can handle all aspects of the booking service for all employees. This includes, among other things:

  • Creation of new bookings for all available services.
  • Overview of all employee bookings.
  • Ability to edit all bookings in the system.
