Reminders

As a service provider, it can be important to remind your customers of their appointments in advance. This can contribute to fewer no-shows and improved customer service.

 

How to set up a reminder via SMS or email

  • Click on "Workflow" in the menu.
  • Select "Create new workflow" in the top right corner.
  • Enter a name in the "Workflow name" field (e.g. "Reminder before booking").
  • Choose the time for the reminder:
    – For reminder before booking: Under “When this happens”, select “Before booking starts”.
    – For reminder after booking: Under “When this happens”, select “After booking completed”.
  • Under "Do this", select either "Send email" or "Send SMS message".
  • Click "Create" in the bottom right corner.
  • On the new page, click "Change" under "When."
    – In the “Offset” field, select “before” or “after,” and enter the desired time in the field on the right. Then select “Minute,” “Hour,” or “Day.”
    – Choose whether the notification applies to specific locations, services, or options. The workflow will only be triggered if these match.
  • When you are finished, click "Save".
  • Under "Do this," click "Setup."
