Booking interval

This setting allows you to set the default time for Booking Intervals. Booking Interval determines how often new times are available for booking. If the booking interval is set to 15 minutes, customers can choose from times that are 15 minutes apart. This value is the default value for all services. You can use the default value when creating a Service or choose individual "Booking Intervals".

Example: Suppose you selected a 30-minute time slot. When customers make a new appointment, they will see times in 30-minute increments, such as 10:30 AM, 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM, etc.

Default value: 5 minutes, but you can set as you wish.

Make Service Duration as Booking Interval

When this option is enabled, the duration of the service will determine the length of each available time period (Booking Interval) for the booking. This means that each available time interval will be equal to the length of the service. For example, if the service lasts for 1 hour, customers will see available times for booking in 1-hour intervals. So if the service starts at 10:00 AM, the next available times will be 11:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and so on.

Default value: Disabled.

Minimum time in advance before a booking can be made

This option allows you to set a time limit on how early customers can book. For example, if you want customers to only be able to book services up to 2 days in advance, you can set the limit to 2 days. This means that reservations cannot be made less than 2 days before the booking date. If you don't need this feature, it can easily be disabled.

Default value: Disabled.

How many days in advance can a booking be made:

This option allows you to limit how far in advance customers can book. For example, if you set the limit to 100 days, customers will only be able to book services within the next 100 days. This means that bookings cannot be made for dates further in the future than 100 days from the current date.

Default value: 365 days.

The week starts on

In some countries the week starts on Sunday, in some countries on Monday. You can change which day of the week starts in your calendar according to your country and your choice.

Date format

The date format also varies from country to country. You can set the date format according to your choice.

Time format

You can set the time format to 24 hours or 12 hours.

Default agreement status

This option allows you to set a default status for new bookings that customers make. If you want staff to manually confirm each booking, you can set the status to “Pending.” This means that when a customer places a new booking, it will appear as pending in the dashboard, where a manager can review and either approve or reject it based on the details. However, if you select the status “Approved,” bookings will be automatically approved without manual review.

Default value: Pending.

Flexible times

With "Flexible times" you can optimize the utilization of available time slots in your booking service.

Example: Say you offer services that are normally set up in one-hour blocks, such as 9:00 AM–10:00 AM, 10:00 AM–11:00 AM, etc. If a customer orders a shorter service, lasting 10 minutes, at 10:30 AM, the entire hour from 10:00 AM–11:00 AM is typically taken.

With flexible times, however, the next available time slot will open at 10:40 a.m., rather than waiting until 11:00 a.m. This means that the remaining 50 minutes after the short service can still be offered to other customers, allowing for more efficient use of bookable times and increasing capacity for more bookings.
