What can you see in Overview?
When you click Overview in the booking service, you get a simple view of your upcoming scheduled activities. Here's what you can see and how the information works:
Important to understand: What does "Today", "Tomorrow", etc. indicate?
Overview gives you a forward-looking view of bookings. It's important to note that when you look at categories like "Today," "Tomorrow," or "This week," these views are about bookings that will happen during those periods.
- "Today" shows all bookings that are scheduled to take place during the current day. This means all appointments that will take place later in the day, not those that have already been made.
- "Tomorrow" shows bookings that will happen tomorrow, meaning all appointments you have for the coming day.
- "This week" shows all bookings that will be made during the current week.
It is not a historical view. The view does not show when the bookings were booked. It only shows future events that will take place in the selected time period. For example, if a customer booked an appointment for next month, this booking will not appear in "Today" until the date approaches.
Bookings
Here you see how many bookings are planned for the future, either for today, tomorrow, this week, or another selected period.
Duration
Shows the total duration of all upcoming bookings in the selected period. This gives you an overview of how much time is allocated to different appointments in the future.
Revenue
Gives you an overview of expected revenue based on upcoming bookings. Again, this is about deals that will happen in the future, not revenue from past or completed bookings.
New customers
Shows the number of new customers who have booked services for the first time in the selected period.
Booking status
Here you will get a status update on all upcoming appointments. The statuses include:
- Pending: Requests that have not been confirmed.
- Approved: Confirmed agreements that are ready for implementation.
- Cancelled: Appointments that have been canceled.
- Declined: Appointments that you have declined.
Development curve
The graph shows the development of bookings and revenue over time. Here you can see trends from previous months or years, but this is more to give you a visual picture of growth and not details about individual bookings.
