 Bookingtjeneste.no supports the following languages

• Norwegian Bokmål (default)
• English
• Norwegian

For customers

The language can be easily selected by clicking on the language button at the bottom left of the booking page. The customer can change the language at any time before or during the booking.

For users in the control panel

The language can be changed via the button in the top right, next to the username.

Sharing booking links in different languages

On Bookingtjeneste.no you can easily share booking links with customers in different languages. The website supports multiple languages, and each language has its own dedicated URL. This makes it easy to adapt the customer experience to the desired language.

Examples of URL structure:

• Norwegian Bokmål (default language): https://bookingtjeneste.no/demo/
• Norwegian Nynorsk: https://bookingtjeneste.no/nn/demo/
• English: https://bookingtjeneste.no/en/demo/

For example, say your booking page is https://bookingtjeneste.no/MyCompany
Then your English booking page will be: https://bookingtjeneste.no/one/MyCompany

• Full translation in English: When you select English, ALL content – including menus, buttons, services and other information – will be translated into English. This is done automatically using the Google Translate API.
• Limited translation in Nynorsk: Nynorsk is not currently supported by the Google Translate API. Therefore, only menus, buttons, and some system texts will be translated into Nynorsk. The content itself, such as service descriptions, will remain in the default language unless manually translated.
  

Changing texts in the control panel

If you want to change the words or phrases that appear in the control panel (for example, menu items or buttons), this can be done using simple CSS code under Appearance. Click on the appearance you are already using, and scroll all the way down. Here you can fill in your custom CSS. If you want to customize the wording in the menu or other elements on your own booking page, please contact our customer support – we will be happy to help you with this.

If you want to change the words or phrases that appear in the control panel (for example, menu items or buttons), this can be done using simple CSS code. Go to Look, click on the theme you are already using, and scroll all the way down. Here you will find a field for custom CSS, where you can make changes.
